John has been working as a freelance commercial photographer since 2006. Since graduating from tafeSA in 2008 with an
Advanced Diploma of Photography (Commercial) he has been building relationships with a diverse group of clients both big and small.
The majority of John’s work is with Local Governments working on Community Projects.
Some of his other clients include Roof Seal, Axiom Publishing, Tempo Magazine, SA Life, Builtlink Design & Construct, Chasdor Bindery, & Marden Senior College.
His love for photography keeps him striving to explore new techniques, themes & ideas both in camera and in post-production.
John’s real passion lies within portraiture, where he is constantly working on personal projects.
His personal portraiture style has an overwhelming sense of drama and anticipation, rendered through an intense quality of light.
It’s fair to say that his photography career is diverse. No doubt about that. But for him, it’s not about being famous,
being known or getting awards. It’s about doing everything he can and using his creativity and skills to make his photographs uniquely his.
